Beyonce's Father announced that two new Albums are on their way.
We haven't heard much from these "independent women" in almost seven years, so it came as a shock when it was announced by Matthew Knowles that two new Destiny's Child's albums will drop this November.
The most successful female group consisting of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and some other members that were cast by the wayside, have not actually been in the studio to produce these albums. However a back catalogue of unreleased material will make up the albums, according to their manager, Matthew Knowles who announced the news in an interview.
Though this creates a wave excitement across Destiny's Child's fans, it seems to me a little fishy!
Firstly, the announcement was made by and only by Matthew. As we all know, the relationship between Beyonce and her father,the manager of the girl group has deteriorated over the years. It was only recently that Beyonce dropped her father Matthew as manager after accusations rose that he stole money from his superstar daughter. Furthermore, no other member of DC has reacted to this news online. I question whether this push to resurrect DC has got to do with the release of his far from successful new girl group From Above. His announcement of the DC reunion came while promoting his new reality show "Breaking From Above", which broadcast their struggle to break into the industry.

Nevertheless, the manager has also hinted at a reunion tour which could take place sometime within "the next five years" however it all depends on all the schedules of their individual solo careers. With Beyonce balancing her motherhood and rejuvenating her music career, Kelly's venture into reality TV in an music competition in Australia and Michelle doing...well we have yet to see Michelle breakout like her counterparts. But I am sure that with massive support of the DC fans, we will see a Destiny's Child part 2 in the near future.
