TomKat Split and Adele is Preggers: Bitter Endings and New Beginnings!

This week has been quite eventful in Hollywood land. So let's start with the big 'un:

Well what can I say... To be honest, I'm more surprised that they lasted as long as they did. The only shocking thing is that it came out of nowhere.
Normally the press are quite good at preempting a separation before it happens...look at Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. Although they do occasionally get it wrong like with the rumours of a Will and Jada split, I honestly never thought that Tomkat would end after they have been able to last so long in Hollywood. 

Initially, when the TomKat phenomenon began I thought it would be a car crash waiting to happen... like a Kim Kardashian 72 day debacle. There's a major reason why so many celebs prefer to "keep their private life private" seeing as all majorly publicised relationships pan out publicly in front of the cameras and normally these unions don't last longer than the ink drying on a tabloid paper. After Tom's mad hatter act jumping on Oprah's couch and their nauseating makeout sessions on red carpet appearances, I gave them 5 months (at most) not 5 years!

However with all divorces there are reasons beyond the "irreconcilable differences" BS! There are many who claim Tom's cult Scientology played a role in the separation. Regardless of the cult,  I have always viewed Cruise as less of a cruise and more of a control freak. Over the years he has been seen as quite an angry tiny hulk from his overprotective nature over Scientology to his attack at Brooke Shields after she spoke openly about postpartum depression. Katie, on the other hand, has always appeared as an innocent flower that is overdominated by the more wealthier and powerful Tom, however high her heels may be! Although we may never know what the deciding factor was to end the union, I can't imagine it having a good effect on precocious fashionista Suri. This will play badly in court when it comes to custody and however I hope it all ends quickly and smoothly, even if it is for the sake of the kid.

Adele announces Pregnancy of first Child.

From consolations to congratulations! We are happy to announce that Adele, the Soul hitmaker, has announced the pregnancy of her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki. It has been a whirlwind of a year for Miss Adkins after the Smash hit Album 21, undergoing throat surgery and winning a countless number of awards including 6 Grammys. 

Adele has stated that she intends to take a break from music and lets hope that this new arrival (unsure when he or she will be arriving exactly) will give her a fresh new inspiration for her third album. I think everyone is tired of hearing her miserable and in pain. It's time to see her happy...congrats!
