Real Housewives of Atlanta: Season 6 | Grade: B

The Claws really came out and the ladies were looking for blood!  This, I hate to say, is the reason I love RHOA - they are my favourite housewives! They give shade daily, fight abruptly but always greet one another respectfully.

This season didn't feel run of the mill, it brought me back to the good old times. Mainly because, Nene Leakes' career has slightly stalled in hollywood so she was forced to move back to Atlanta and with that came all the drama.

However all the fights, whether at the pyjama party or in Barbados, left me with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth - hence the grade B. Partly because the fights felt too real- ironic for a show with 'real' in the title! I watch this show as a form of entertainment and everything looks like fun and games. But I sometimes forget the effect of this show on the cast's lives. We are sure to delve more into serious issues like Apollo's incarceration and Portia's mugshot in the upcoming season. I just hope that RHOA does not completely cross the line of class to compete for ratings!
