The Games were packed with dancers celebrating British Music through the ages from the Beatles to Dizzee Rascal.The Comedy came curteosy of the Queen, yes the Queen making her first cameo and Rowan Atkinson.  After all 204 countries were presented the couldron was finally presented to signal the start of the games. The structure made from 204 copper petals which represented each country was lit by seven promising young athletes to coincide with the Games motto "Inspire a Generation" |
