Is Kanye too Kontrolling?

The Star orders Kim K to ditch all her "ghetto" wardrobe for a more conservative look.

Kim Kardashian's style has sure changed since she has become serious with current boyfriend Kanye West. On the latest episode of KUWTK, we see another rare but insightful appearance by Kanye. While Kim is trying on dresses, Kanye invites his personal stylist to the reality star's house to give her wardrobe a makeover as he believes a new set of clothes would get her on the "best dressed lists". In an exchange for a new rack of clothes, Kanye ordered Kim to clear her whole wardrobe. This just begs the question, Has Kanye become too controlling?

Kim concludes that it was a good thing that her fashion and style has evolved with her new budding relationship. Recently, she has stepped out in more conservative and perhaps sophisticated outfits. Both Kim and Kanye have been sporting a trend of matching outfits when out and about. However she seemed to appear disheartened as she watched most of her clothes and priceless collection of stilettos stacked away for charity, saying that she "literally wanted to cry" (below). Even Khloe appeared shocked by the extreme measure to remove Kim so-called "ghettoness". 

Kim may call this a type of evolution but I see this as pure submission to a boyfriend's demand. Kanye seems to have this power over Kim and her fashion, the key to the Kardashian brand. He is adamant to mould Kim into a sophisticated type of "80's woman", which he admits to prefer instead of her more seductive style. 

Here's my advice to Miss Kardashian: If you have to change your whole wardrobe to be with a man, he doesn't want the real you. I think that this should be a warning of Kanye's controlling demeanour. He may dominate the charts but now seems to be seeping into his relationship.  For Kim, this may be signs of things to come for this "power couple" who have previously dodged remarks that their relationship was for publicity.
